Mountains Edge
This community is conveniently located within Clark County and served by Interstates 15, 215 and 515 and several other major roadways. Ground broke on the community in February of 2004. When complete, the community will offer 12,500 homes in dozens of different neighborhoods. Each neighborhood will offer its own set of amenities. Some examples include swimming pools, neighborhood parks, exercise areas, athletic courts and walking trails. There will also be 670 acres of public area, including space designated for shopping, schools and a fire station. Plus, the 320-acre, western-themed, regional park around Arden Dome will be the first of its kind in Las Vegas. The site will include many play areas for children and nature trails leading up to the summit. Industries that provide employment for area residents include arts, entertainment, recreation, accommodation and food services, educational, health and social services, retail trade and construction. Real estate for sale in Mountain's Edge consists of single-family detached homes for sale, estate properties, condominiums and townhouses. Because part of the Old Spanish Trail passes through the area, the developer decided to key in on this aspect of the historic culture. Including replicated Native American and early settler artifacts in playgrounds, trails and other common areas created a western feel. The community is comprised of 3,000 acres in the southwest portion of Las Vegas Valley, near Rainbow Boulevard and Blue Diamond Road
